Learning to value your own story

Have you ever met someone and wanted to be exactly like them? Pavitra Ravi has, and it made her wonder: what is it that inspires us to follow someone else's path, instead of our own? To better understand the difference between impersonating someone and being inspired by them, Pavitra investigates Rajiv Surendra's fascinating 10 year journey chasing the role of Pi Patel for the film 'Life of Pi'. In her clever Talk, Pavitra takes us through the highs and lows of following in someone else's footsteps, and she reminds us that while we pursue what inspires us, we can't forget to create our own authentic stories along the way.
