I get where she's coming from but the analogy didn't really make sense because you aren't a "random 🐶" anymore once you become a full-blown celebrity.

She could've compared it to parasocial relationships with YouTubers since one person knows the other through the screen or the other's persona at least and the person filming themselves just knows the camera.

Still, if ANY celebrity says no to ANYTHING that SHOULD be respected and they shouldn't be seen as a "bad person" for having boundaries.

This makes me an automatic fan of hers tbh. As someone who went through it in my personal life from someone who thought they were owed a relationship bc of them dating someone we both knew in my family, people who lack boundaries do not take people placing boundaries well and I guess they feel rejected and are reactive about it but knowing yourself and holding on to your boundaries with that behavior will only help you continue to keep yourself safe- she's right you do have a right to say NO. I love that she calls it for what it is, UNHEALTHY and UNSAFE because I swear people are so blinded by their blurred lines through social media they dehumanize people.

I understand how weird it is for people who get extremely crazy over fans LOL and can’t contain their excitement, they’re just people. Stalking them or taking pictures without their consent that is weird.
With that being said, no sh*t no one will come up to me for instance to ask for a picture cause I’m not famous. If fans are respectful and ask nicely for pictures that should be okay, I don’t even know her, but she’s famous because of her fans! If no one listened to her music she wouldn’t even be famous to begin with. I get that some fans can be entitled and rude but not everyone’s like this, she’s coming off entitled & snobby.

I was attacked for real and the reporter at the Daily Mirror said "write a shit take that sounds like Chappell complaining about nothing, " so now I find her repugnant as a real victim of stalking and violence with a real police report.
