Ingredients for Crust
1 1/2 cups of 1.1 GF flour
1/2 cup of butter
1/4 tsp salt
1/3 cup of brown sugar
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees and line a 9x9 baking dish with parchment paper. Melt the butter and add all of the ingredients to the bowl. Press the crust into the bottom of the pan and bake for 15 minutes. Remove and follow the next steps.
Ingredients for Filling
8oz sweetened condensed milk
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla extract
4 oz Taza Salted Almond Chocolate
1/3 cup of 1.1 GF flour
1/4 cup of sugar
2 tbsp butter, melted
2 cups of coconut
1 cup of slivered almonds
Break up the chocolate discs and melt in the microwave or double boiler. Melt the butter too. In a bowl add all of the ingredients together. Mix well and pour into the crust. Bake for 30 minutes, remove and allow to cool completely. Cut into squares and enjoy!
