LYRICS

World goes around the same
But mine stops at just the sound of your name
I’m only sure that I am here
When you’re near
The reason to even dream, at all

World goes around the same
These birds and neighbors still here today
But I’m not sure I’m still going on
Since you’ve gone
Your shallow laughter still screams, and screams

Bitches

My favorite part of this video is at 2:20 when you can see the cellist in the background just groovin'.

Whole ensemble is next level. David Binney’s sax solo is otherworldly. Easily one of the best albums in my 47-years of being a voracious listener.

When i first started listening to LC, I got hooked on the tight drumming, and now I just want more of the soulful singing, drumming or not. I admire this man's music and thus the man himself. Keep doing what you do, bud. Truly life-affirming stuff.

This is rapidly becoming one of my favourites - hard to describe how, but maybe it's something to do with the sheer power of every layer as it builds, the sax solos always soaring and wailing in what to me sounds like the feeling of needing to vent all of your frustration in a primal scream, and how great it feels to do it. So Sick.

These were my favorite songs off the last albums, so nice to hear them live

I regularly revisit this track as my primary source of spin tingles, goosebumps and dopamine shivers. ❤

The first zoom in on Louis's face when he starts drumming and he is hearing his arrangement being loved by the crowd and the entire orchestra and stage killing it brought a smile to my face, must be such a proud moment and what a unique track this is too, so Louis Cole, congrats to all involved. 👏

My lower jaw was already down on the ground. Now it's 6 feet under. Masterpiece. Classical, jazz, funk, heavy metal, pop, cinema... Mixed together in a sooo beautiful and fresh way.
And the arrival of the monstruous bassline is just heartchoking.

Play it again Sam.

Wow!!! Brilliant. Beautiful. Heartbreaking. Ecstatic. Sublime. Everything works so well together. And the range? From ethereal falsetto and strings, to bone-crunching beats, fatback riffery, and eargasmic saxual ejazzulations… phew!!! Listening straight back around again… fabulous!

This is next-level harmonic architecture. Exit question: Cucumber or no cucumber?

Damn Louis, I've been following you for a long time, and even though you were exposing yourself in a cheerful way, it was already clear that you had a deep musical knowledge, that "command" attitude. Seeing you now in such a complex and challenging situation, and dominating it with apparent (or really is) lightness moves me. You are all great artists, speaking of your group, and the orchestra is superlative, also for how it got into the spirit of the show!
Greetings from Sicilia, Italy

post scriptum: you are, for me, the number one candidate for the next soundtrack of the next 007 film

As much as id like to see sam gendel on stage w/ the sax here, i rly appreciate how he will still give the sax part to other saxophonists.

We already know that sam would kill it, he's showing us how many other ppl out here absolutely friggin slay at sax, i love it 💪💪

God Dave Binney is good. And by good I mean great. Louis is the most versatile musician I've ever had the pleasure of listening to. Thank You!!

You'd better believe I was headbanging like Nathan Explosion in my living room at 2:04 during the premiere stream.

Reminiscent of a Yellowjackets/Ferrante intro. Beautiful!
