Debugging your Huge Container Images

Have you ever built a container image, only to realize it’s several hundred MBs (or even GBs) more than you expected? Building streamlined and minimal container images is a difficult art to master. In this session, we’re going to do a quick overview of how container image layering works and then use that foundation to debug common issues that cause large images. We’ll also go over tools, including dive, that help us get a better idea of what’s adding size to our images.
