The reader can watch as an Israeli secular Jew discovers a newfound peace, shalom, in the heart of someone close to him; and that's what he begins to want it for himself.

I just finished reading Operation Joktan and it is everything Amir promotes it to be. It is thrilling, nail biting, humorous, and intelligent. It does have the gospel woven into the story. One of the main characters, Nicole, does get saved, but Nir does not get saved....yet! We will be looking forward to the next book. I can see a movie coming out of this book.
