Dude, I ordered red dragonfruit for delivery recently. I got the golden one instead as a substitute and I am genuinely so glad that happened. Golden dragonfruit is literally my favorite fruit now. It's texture and taste just itch my brain in such a good way.

We grow red dragon fruits in the terrace it is always way sweeter almost like sugar from the ones you get from the market it is also a little smaller ... because every year you get only around 10 fruits .. but in the markets they use a bunch of chemicals

Yellow/golden dragon fruit is definitely one of my favorite fruits. Ive never had a good red/white dragon fruit.

You should try Yuca. Its very good boiled with salt. There is the white and yellow ones.

Apparently red pitayas you get from the store are underripe because they’d otherwise just rot on the way, so growing one (not possible in Canada, it’s a cactus native to Mesoamerica) seems to be the best option.
