The heel shank is peeling because they are getting snagged and possibly stuck in a grate. Leather soled shoes, no matter the brand are supposed to get resoled eventually.

They're actually meant for the sole to rub off - you then go back to louboutin and get the long lasting rubber red sole tailored made for your foot according to where your feet touched the ground the most they'll redo the sole accordingly if that makes sense

Maybe take care of them? When you buy them they tell you to buy the stickers for the sole to protect the paint. And maybe don’t where them like they’re sneakers and you’ll be fine I have nearly 20 pairs some for over 3 years and mine have never looked this bad 😬🤷‍♀️

I used a Sole and Heel protector. But even with that I would not walk around too much on pavement . Wear flat until you get to your sit down event ❤❤❤
