Do you hear that slide guitar? That's none other than George Harrison who played on the song "The Trembler". One of George's best friends Ravi Shankar co-wrote this song with Duane Eddy and two of George's other favorite people are also featured on this album, Jim Keltner on drums and Carl Perkins on guitar. Paul McCartney also played somewhere on this album as well as co-produced it, but I haven't researched which song or songs he played on and what instrument since he can do them all. The man is a genius musician and songwriter.
You think this is an odd bunch who got together out of respect for each other, Duane Eddy also has an album released in 1965 called "Don't Think Twice, It's Alright" where Duane plays Bob Dylan songs, but he also played on a song on that album called "House of the Rising Sun" which is interesting because the Animals released that song in 1964, the prior year to the album's release, which became a big hit for the Animals. Although Bob Dylan played "House of The Rising Sun" on his debut album released in 1962 and from where the Animals picked it up. In turn, Bob Dylan probably picked up "House of The Rising Sun" from Joan Baez who released her version of the song in 1960.

Jim Keltner’s drum pattern on this song sounds so similar to his drum pattern he did on Got My Mind Set On You for George Harrison.
