I think one of the reasons why they don't just take a picture of actual people crying for the thumbnail is solely just to respect the moment. Imagine having to ask a family in the middle of the take to pose for the camera in order to advertise their moment for a thumbnail? It's also likely that they did a photoshoot first maybe even before the program started just to get it out of the way of the list of things he has to do. Making a thumbnail isn't exactly the most important part for Jimmy to do. It's an important detail for marketing, which is why he has an editing team for that, but for him personally - Managing the program is probably more important than a thumbnail photoshoot.

As a physically disabled person as well, i can say that i'd be more than grateful to meet a person in my life who's willing to help me. Being disabled for me, doesn't just cause problems when i'm physically trying to do something but it genuinely decreases my mental wellness. Even if Jimmy is making a profit out of it, at least he's making these people happy. It's like if you met a person who has a bad personality but makes a good effort in helping others. (i'm not saying Jimmy is a bad person by the way) Jimmy making profit out of his videos isn't a problem at all.. in fact, how do people think he's even going to help other people if he doesn't earn any money? There's really no reason to be mad at Jimmy when there's literally no harm involved in his actions.
