Quenda has huge potential, but is a MASSIVE gamble.

Amad is fantastic in that position anyway. For me, we dont have much money to spend, and there are far far more important gaps in the squad... while we will also have to replace some players leaving for free or a pittance.

I feel the Quenda deal was driven more by the agent and Sporting than the player himself. He would have chosen Ruben if it was up to him. I actually feel sad for him as this deal with Chelsea seems bit of a scam imo. Alot can happen in a season, just ask City.Chelsea has how many wingers? where will he fit in the packing order, specially in a year from now. Who says Maresca will be still there, also who says Chelsea will have European football? All just promises they made. I am in a way glad United did not act in desperation and raised the price as I feel that was the trick. Chelsea did this just to get back at United for the Sancho deal, they are not in absolute dire need of a winger.
