As far as I know a lot of most private healthcare is done by NHS doctors and in NHS facilities so this in turn puts back the waiting list. I had an emergency op on a hernia seven years ago I couldn’t fault the care I received but there is a but. I was told that someone who had a planned op was now back on the waiting list and if someone else arrived at the hospital who had a more life threatening issue I would have to wait for my operation.

The last few times I've had to visit my GP, I've had to ring up at 8am on the dot to get an appointment. When I turn up to see the doctor, I've arrived about 15 minutes early and the waiting room is empty. I've sat with a good view of the passage which leads to the exam rooms and nobody else had entered or exited and I have had to wait up to 20 minutes past my appointment time before being called in.... what exactly is going on there?
