How to Setup DSD with Foobar2000 (Fiio K3)

All files can be found here. Fiio K3 dac driver, Foobar2000 player, and Super Audio CD Decoder. i'll drop a link to 7zip in case you guys don't have a program do unzip the files.

Great tutorial! For anyone who finds at the end that they can play DSD128 but DSD256 gives an error saying "Unrecoverable playback error: Sample rate of 44100 Hz not supported by this device"

I managed to get both 128 and 256 outputting properly by at 5:47, changing the DSD Playback Method from DoP to ASIO Native.

Fixed the problem right off the bat, make sure you install Fiio official dac driver. Dsd playback will not work without it, great video very helpful!

Using FiiO BTA30PRO...which is airing the music to a Bluetooth receiver/headphone Amp (in LDAC mode)
The only drawback is, while listening to DSD, I couldn't change the volume, not even from inside FooBar. Only by using the volume knob of the Bluetooth receiver I was able to turn down the music volume.

BTW...instead of setting foo_dsd_asio to Dop_Marker_0x05_0xFA...I put DSD Native.

*while playing DSD with foobar the Fiio will lock to that music sound only anything else in the background can no longer be heard, but in a way its quite awesome because i can switch sound device on windows to allow my powered speakers that is not connected to Fiio to play sound of other things like movie or games or youtube while my Sundara with the Fiio can still listen to music at the same time with perfect clarity in my ear alongside the speaker that is playing in the background lol*

is there a way to do this without selecting ASIO ? because i want to listen to Foobar2000 and other programs at the same time.

What seems to fix it is in the Tools > SaCD option Asio driver mode - PCM is selected instead of DSD. When I select DSD, automatically there is no sound but a slight hiss.

Really finnicky, but it works as showed. If it doesn't, start over and follow each step precisely and you will have success.
