Steps to become an IEEE official Student Member

This video provides a step-by-step guide to registering oneself as an official IEEE student member.
Steps:
2. To register as a new member, Click on 'Join IEEE'
3. Select 'Join as a Student'
4. New members should Create an account. If you already have an account, simply Sign in
5. Fill in your Basic Details to create account and proceed
6. Fill in your 'Contact and Profile Information' and Save
7. Make sure 'I am a student studying at least part time ' is selected
8. Select your college/institute name from the list
(Here Ramaiah Institute of Technology)
9. Fill in your other 'Professional and Educational Information' and Save
10. Select any other subscription that you would like to register for
11. For students, IEEE consultant networks, SIGHT and Women in Engineering membership are for free
12. You can opt for as many free or paid membership as you want
13. Edit the subscription options (if any)
14. Provide the 'Additional Information' asked for
15. A valid Referral member name and membership can be provided (optional)
16. If you are not referred by anyone, simply leave it blank
17. Click on 'Proceed to Checkout'
18. Select the appropriate Communication Preferences
19. Click on 'Save and Proceed to Checkout'
20. Verify your Membership(s) and subscription orders
21. Provide 'Promotional code' if you have any
22. Select your method of payment
23. a. For 'Pay by Credit Card'
b. Provide the credit card details and 'Continue Checkout'
or
24. a. For 'Pay by Paypal'
b. Login to Paypal portal and complete the transaction
or
25. a. To 'Pay by Challan', generate the e-Challan by providing a valid phone number
b. Accept the terms and conditions of IEEE Memberships
c. Note the 'Expiry date of e-challan', Beneficiary Bank Name and Branch Address
d. Make the payment in the said bank account before expiry of e-Challan
or
26. a. 'Print the order and mail the payment'
b. Print this order
c. Fill in the details and mail it to said address
d. Note down the address of the recipient here
27. Once the Payment is done, accept the terms by checking the boxes
28. The Checkout Button will then become Active (orange). Click on it.
