My 102 year old grandmother remembered singing this when she went to church in Henderson, KY area back when she was a girl. She passed away 1/2/23 and is sitting at the feet of Jesus!🙏🏻💕

I can’t listen to this song without crying very hard. Growing up as a child my mother would sing this to me on nights when I would have nightmares or the weather was very stormy, especially during hurricanes. I love her more than anything. She and God have gotten me through so much anxiety and heartache in my life.

I will send this to my sister. She's pregnant now and it was found that she has an ovarian cyst which make her pregnancy harder than normal. She'll go through 2 surgeries, to get the cyst then CS for the baby. If you read this, please say a prayer for her. Her name's Cristy. Thank you so much and God bless us all. 18th June 2023. Four years ago my husband was deployed into the Lord's Presence. And this morning the Holy Spirit confirmed God Will take care of me through the words of this hymn.

Thank you for sharing. I read a devotion about it. James Cash Penny who started JCPenney stores says this song saved his life. He was in the hospital dying and woke to some one singing this in the chapel. He got up and went in. He felt it was right from the Lord to encourage him to not give up. GOD was going to take care of him. I just found this and plan to sing it at church Sunday night if the Lord is willing. GOD bless you all. We serve a big God. ❤
