Sketchbook Tour | Greece Adventures Part 1
Показать описание
Welcome to Draw Tip Tuesday!
I’m back from Greece and excited to share one of the two sketchbooks I filled during my recent 12-day workshop with The Blue Walk there!
This week, I’ll take you through the larger sketchbook that I used for my demos during class, as well as drawings created on my own.
You'll see pages filled with travel sketches, people studies, collages, and some of my favorite scenes from Athens to Amorgos, Naxos and Santorini. The last few pages were filled back home, drawing daily things that caught my eye.
I'll also show you how I approached some of my demonstration drawings, like continuous line, collage techniques and creative color palettes.
I hope this sketchbook tour inspires you to capture your own adventures, big and small, in your sketchbook.
Oh and if you're wondering about the stickers on the cover of this sketchbook: one of them seems out of place! I got the Arizona sticker from someone in the workshop group, so I stuck it on my sketchbook right away.
Your assignment this week is inspired on one of the pages in my sketchbook in which the vibe was well captured.
Create a page with five small frames and capture quick snapshots of your day in each. It’s a great way to build a mini-story of your own in your sketchbook! Whether you’re sketching a coffee break, a sunset, or a busy moment, let your day unfold through drawing.
Let the process surprise you, and embrace the fun of drawing!
If you're interested in joining me for a travel workshop, check the link below for details on upcoming trips to Italy, Spain, and more.
