Girl I feel you, I’ve always had long hair but I just couldn’t keep up with it so it got extremely damaged from lack of care and heat, so about two years ago I had to do a big chop and now I just keep it short so that it’s less work for me and I’m a lot happier with the weight off my shoulders

your hair looks so much healthier first and foremost but secondly, I can say as someone who has curly hair it’s not quite as curly as yours, but I do have curly hair and I do like cutting my hair short. It took a while to adjust her, but now that I have been, I actually do enjoy it. I always tend to hate my hair for like the first week or two it’s just something about the hair being at a certain length square for the first week or so it just doesn’t look good, but after about a week or two, and it grows a little bit. It does actually look better and part of that too is adjusting to it once you get used to your hair being that length, and all of the things that you can do with it and all the things you can’t do with it it’s a lot easier to enjoy it.
