My mom was diagnosed with schizophrenia a few years ago. This last year was tough. She was in and out of mental health institutions, and of course I would go visit her as often as I could. After one particularly hard visit with her where she wouldn’t let me go and begged me to take her home, I got to my apartment and locked myself in my room. I put on Pandora and this song randomly started playing. I’ve never heard it before or had even heard of this artist. I lost it. I cried and cried for my mom and this unfair situation my family and I had found ourselves in. Every single time I hear this song I’m immediately taken back to this night and it makes me feel sad. But it also makes me feel hopeful because my mom has come so far with her psychiatrist and medications. Music is incredible in this way. Thank you for this song, I’ll be listening to it for the rest of my life.

i love when i find talented artist by mistake! This women and her producers are amazing...the moment i heard fountain i instantly feel in love with her music.  What a  breath of fresh air she is.
