Although this song seems to be their high point I preferred some of their earlier works. Songs such as Moonglow and Wonderful One tend to evoke much more sentimentality. It May Sound Silly even manages to improve on the original. But my gosh these ladies are darned cute and adorable😍

I can never hear this song without tearing up when I was a little fella my mom would sing this to me while bathing me in a washtub, we lived in West Virginia, in a Coal Camp, no indoor bathroom or bathtub. She passed 5 years ago, such bittersweet memories.

Sigh - the last surviving sister, Phyliss in the center, passed away December 29, 2020 - almost exactly 2 years after Christine. RIP

Wow, haven't heard this since the 70's when I was a kid! My parents used to play this song in the living room on an 8-track of some 'Greatest Hits' compilation of some kind. Brings back lots of memories, thanks for posting.
