I just got a Kia K5 and I love it!! I've had 4 Mercedes over the past 34 years, one thing I won't miss is the high price of maintaining them. So let's review great warranty, less money, 5 star crash reviews, loads of safety tech, great aggressive styling and a great performing car. Don't get me wrong, I still love Mercedes, but I don't feel like I've compromised on my choice, I just wont miss spending thousands more for features found on my K5

Maybe it was a glitch in the Sport mode programming of the CLA, but it was quite obvious the shifts were not even close to the same as the normal mode of the 1st run. The tachometer and engine sound will tell anyone that. The K5 performance is still impressive for a base engine. The GT is way better though.

2:58 - "What was that?" It was you not paying attention to driving and realizing that your car was seriously short shifting multiple times. I like the K5 more, but the Merc is definitely the quicker car.

Why first run Merc was shifting gears on 6k rpm and second race on 4.5k from 3gear to 4th. Come on man we are not blind...3rd run same thing- letting off gas paddle and transmission shifts on 4k rpm. So only first run is objective.

1) IN 3 gear you didn't push pedal to full
2) If u dnt change traction control on CLA, u dnt have max power gear

Ive had my k5 GT Line since October. Gonna put some 20x rims on it and a few performance mods to make it a wee bit faster. But I absolutely love this car.

I see 3er gear in the Mercedes did very low RPM i think you didn't push pedal to full. Check 1st video how the Mercedes did the change gear better

Of course it's catching up when you lift off the throttle. It is obvious because the car shifted up the gear at 4000 rpm instead of 6000 rpm.

I call bullshit on this race, He let off the gas in the Mercedes. You can hear the early upshift in the video. The Mercedes is a faster car. Cmmon guy!!

I switched from a 16 chevy malibu to a 21 K5 and I love it won’t be going back to GM
