Make Your Own Headliner! Jeep Wrangler Freedom Top Headliners for Under $100 (Complete DIY Guide)

In this video, I show you how to make your own headliner for the Jeep Wrangler Freedom Panels so you can enjoy putting your patches on as you explore new places! This guide will show you step-by-step how to make Jeep JL Headliners with various tips from my experience winging it and making them look fantastic! All-in cost for me was ~$80 but would have been ~$50 had I not needed to buy some items I didn't bring with me. I started with the Driver's side first then explain how to easily do the passenger side as well.

Materials needed:
Stapler (Preferably heavy duty) | Gorilla Double Adhesive Tape (Or other type of adhesive) | Shears/Scissors | Medium Duty Xacto Knife (Box cutter would work fine) | Foam board ~1/4 in thick |
Felt (or other Velcro-able fabric) | Double sided hook velcro (if patches don't already have it) |
Sharpie Marker | News paper (for headliner template) | About 2 hours -if you're like me

for patches, use glue dots (Zots) little dots of sticky rubber like the ones credit cards come with in the mail. Some headliners do not hold the velcro and need to be pinned in. these come in roll or sheet, used for posters etc.

If you were to do this over again, would you buy insulation material instead of using a foam board? I'm debating whether or not I want to buy the foam board like you did or buy insulation material instead.
