Amira and the StoryCraft App Montage

Primal Screen and I collaborated with Amira Learning to create a consumer version of their in-school reading software that utilizes A.I. to assist children who are struggling to read. It felt fantastic to utilize animation and design to really help kids.

We crafted the entire experience, from developing the name to music production, design, animation, writing and marketing. I directed a team that varied in size during a year and a half engagement. I also provided pre-vis and demo animations of many gameplay scenarios and met with clients often to review work and propose solutions.

The app continues to improve and grow. In 2021, Time Magazine named it an honoree for Best Invention of the Year.
