I think the healing is dependent on the damage it deals with the little aoe, and from the looks the melee isn't a counter, but it might be possible hedorah attacks with a stronger melee attack after applying the acid effect on an enemy from the looks

I'm wondering if they're going to make it so that he heals based off of the amount of poison damage he gets off

(I might be looking a little too deep into it though it could be a much simpler trigger)

Kinda wished it would’ve been 3 star. I know people joked a lot about if OG Hedorah was released today it would’ve been a 4 star, but this really just proves that to be the case

(I’m praying it won’t be one of the best units in the entire game on day one… like a certain duo)

My initial guess is that it will be like Shimo: if no acid on opponent, aoe attack. If acid, then slam attack. Possibly getting a damage boost vs enemies with acid on them.
