Just saw Kandahar early screening & it was 🔥🔥🔥. Bahodor Foladi, Navid Negahban, Gerard Butler, Travis Fimmel, & Ali Fazal give superb performances. Cinematography is amazing & an all-around great movie & supporting cast!! Shout out to the special effects department!!

I've just finished watching and the the scene where its complete darkness was a bad mistake in adding, I was hoping for a Mo side mission either halfway through so Tom, Mo and his wife's sister get onto the plane since that was why Mo was there to find his wife's sister or after arriving back home both Tom and Mo go back to find his wife's sister but non of these happened therefore Mo story as to why he was there was irrelevant because nothing came from it i think they just needed a story for Mo as to why he was there which was to find his wife's sister because i was equally invested in Mo finding his wife's sister and as Tom himself said he was going to help Mo find his wife's sister.

I do love war movies and is the genre i generally watch and based on the war movies I've watched i would give Kandahar 3/5 i would give more but imo it was a ok movie but I've seen far better.
It would be interesting what other thought of it.

The movie Kandahar. I was very sad with the movie's portrayal of the Afghan language PASHTO AND DARI and wardrobe. Accurate representation of a particular language and cultural elements can greatly contribute to the overall authenticity and immersion of a film. In this case, it appears that the movie failed to capture the essence of Afghanistan's language and wardrobe, which may have detracted from your viewing experience. It's important for filmmakers to thoroughly research and accurately depict different cultures to ensure a respectful and authentic portrayal on screen. The actors was speaking Afghani PASHTO AND DARI that was all gibberish.😢😮 IT WAS A SHAME ON THE ACTORS AND CASTING AND CULTURE TECHNICOLOR ADVISOR DIDN'T FIX THAT.
