Tech Note 070 - (Obsolete as IDE changed) Adding a new board definition to the Arduino IDE

Not all of the Development boards (especially ESP32) are listed in the Arduino IDE Boards, so this is how I add a new board definition. Don't forget to modify the file 'pins_arduino.h' to match your board for example change or add the LED pin is use, default serial port speed, etc.

My Lolin-Lite board should be delivered today so I have just followed your Tech Note and added it to the definitions, etc. Easy to follow your instructions and all I changed in the pin.h file was the led pin from 5 to 22 for the Lite. Thank you Dave!
I have a ESP32 Lolin Pro on the way, which uses the WROVER and so lots of ram and also a SD card reader on the board. That will be my next board definition task :-)

David you need to change your G6EJD identifier to G6ESP because you seem to have ESP in knowing what is needed by ESP32, Arduino IDE users!
