I was wondering why there'd be so many dislikes, and then I realized that over 1100 people have searched for a YouTube guide on how to do an oil change, and wound up watching Red Green. This makes me immensely happy.

Just searched "How to change oil on a car" and this was the first suggestion. Well, here goes nothing...

Normally I just put the garden hose in the oil cap hole and since water and oil don't mix, all the old oil floats right out of the engine.Just siphon out the excess water and replace with whatever kind of oil your wife has around in the kitchen.I prefer to use extra virgin olive oil to keep it running healthy, with a cup of bacon grease for that good smelling exhaust.

Classic comedy that was so much fun watching growing up with only PBS/ABC/CBS

Who remembers when bumpers were so tough they were the jack point for the car?

My 1974 Camaro came with a bumper jack (I bought it in 1990). The front end lifted up but the right tire stayed on the ground. That's how I learned that half the frame mounts had rusted out and were no longer bolted to the body.

This is becoming more and more true for modern cars. Audi service manual oil change instructions: "Step 1 - Remove engine. Step 2 - Using special service tool SST38924B54, remove the 348 dual-triangle tin clips holding all 74 engine covers from the engine. Take care not to damage the plastics. The 37 lithium-sodium gaskets are single use only and must be replaced."
Stay gold.

This is my favourite episode of Vice Grip Garage.

"When you have a garage do it for you, you don't know whether they've done a poor job or not, when you do it yourself, well, at least you know."

As a newly DIY mechanic, this was excellent.

Red Green Show was brilliant humor, dry wit right of there with the best English comedies, with just the right dash of slapstick.

My dad had a pontiac Grand Prix just like that, same year, color and everything with a 301engine and a 200 r4 transmission, what a beauty, brings tears to my eyes to see this video. Red Green is the funniest ever.

Holy cow I love The Red Green show. I didn't know it was on YouTube. When I was a kid we would keep switching to the Canadian channel to see if it was on lol. My fathers favorite saying is "If the women don't find you handsome they should at least find you handy".

So glad I found this series. I'd never heard of it before, this guy is hilarious! Plus, he really knows what he's doing!! lol. Very few people know how to properly swing a sledgehammer like that. And even fewer know how to use one to properly adjust the height of a vehicle! lol

This reminds me of a friend of a friend I had met. I decided to visit him one day and he was working on his old pickup truck. I asked him what he was doing. He said, a bondo job. I asked what he was using as a filler. He said, "oh, just an old work sock". It reminds me of this episode- a simple man.
