Q&A: Noah's Flood

For those of you saying it was global why would Allah punish someone who lives in another country in another part of the world when they never knew Noah (a.s). It makes no sense considering the fact that God in Merciful than your just saying that title doesn't belong to Allah. Why would they be punished for the mistakes of the People of Noah tribe. In the Quran we see when God brings punishment on people it is usually thoes people who have rejected the prophet and went against him. When God brings punishment on those people it is always local and not global
