I remember me and a friend of mine requesting this song on the radio as Beavis and Butthead. Ten minutes later, they aired our call and his mom came running into the room. We thought we were In trouble, but she busted up laughing. I later found out that she recorded it. To this day, I can't hear this song without laughing.

Never the less, It caught on and it has become somewhat of a joke amongst older fans to say primus suck as a term of adoration.

I actually know a good amount of primus, my entry into the fandom was watching YouTube react videos, glad I took that route. My name is Mud ages like fine wine, I’d argue it’s a perfect song, a perfect mix of primus quirks
