I plug in the PAL Wii U and check out what the Nintendo eShop is like in Europe.

4:10 "inc VAT" is "Includes Value Added Tax", which is UK sales tax. In the UK (And in fact most countries), it's included in the sticker price. You don't suddenly get an extra £10 added to the price at the checkout.

I am so happy that the Switch completely did away with region locking, and that if we want to see other region’s shops we just need to change the region on the system rather than forking more cash for a brand new system.

Swear to God, if Nintendo’s next system will bring back region locking...

About the sports games. Here in Europe the GameCube version of Super Mario Strikers was called Mario Smash Football... ( i know...) so for the Wii... well you get the idea.

'inc VAT' means "Including Value Added Tax". Unlike America, European prices generally alway include the tax already.
