Smart Curtains for 120$! 🔥 | Xiaomi Aqara Smart Curtain Motor B1 Review

Today we review the Xiaomi Smart curtain motor. This curtain motor needs to be paired with any of the Xiaomi or Aqara Gateways. Keep in mind that the Curtain motor is meant to work with DT-82 curtain tracks and can pull up to about 60 kilograms. All of that comes in a package that's just 37*5*5cm and lasted on a full charge so far 3 to 4 months!

Once set-up with the Xiaomi Mi Home App you set timers and automation rules. You can pair the curtain motor with all kinds of input sensors and switches. The timers allow you to set up predefined timeslots for your curtains to open and close. While the automation rules within the Mi Home app will allow you and endless amount of possibilities in your smart home.

I had these smart curtains already installed ever since we moved in a couple months ago and I finally managed to get this video done and I hope you enjoyed it!

Thanks for this video, I had mine delivered last week and have just set it up with Siri & the Aqara app. I also added a philips hue strip light which turns on when the curtains close at sunset. This is really dope cheers!

Hi Martijn, great video! Question: in your video you also have the corner track piece installed, is this part of the track package? or did you buy this as a seperate add-on? Haven't found it yet, and the store selling the track seems to only sell a straight track installation kit. I need a straight rail of about 3.5m and a corner on one end of the rails. Do you know if this combination is possibile? TIA.

1. Kan je de motor volledig wegwerken achter het gordijn?
2. Hoeveel motors heb je nodig per raam (2 gordijnen in het midden sluitend)?
3. Kan ook de aqara camera gebruikt worden als gateway?
4. Kan de batterij versie ook continue op 230V?
5. is de lengte inclusief motor? Ik heb 5.15 meter nodig, ik vraag me af of ik het dan met 5 meter red. De gordijnen moet wel aansluiten tegen de zijmuren.
6. Jouw gordijn in de video zit niet zo mooi vast in het midden, kan je dat niet netter krijgen?

Ik hoop dat je de antwoorden weet.
