I have the original Pebble and I freaking love it! Almost never take it off and battery last VERY long. Easily the best $100 I have spent in a long time.

As much as I envy the 7 day battery life, in terms of design the sharp finish of the Pebble Steel is by far the best looking Pebble watch available. The thick bezels of the new design combined with the round edges gives it, as numerous have said, a childish toylike look. I think they tried too hard to differentiate on design this time round, when in reality it was the only thing good about them apart from the battery.
Still I admire the kickstarter ways and hope it's a success, but when I was so close to buying a steel in the Black Friday sales, I'm glad I waited as the Apple Watch as it has a lot more potential for me on iOS due to Apple's lock down to its platform for 3rd part accessories like this.

Ok, the practicallity of the watch is reaaaly good. I have a Sony SW2 and Moto 360. Thing is with Pebble Time, it DOES look cheap :( a TON of people dont care (look at the backers) and a TON do. Its neutral. I might get a steal version if an android wear watch doesnt come out with a 4+ day battery life sooner

Maybe I'm weird. Maybe my taste is cheap. But...I kind of like the bubble gum pop look, where the body and the interface match one another. And besides...if I walk around with one of those sickeningly expensive looking smart watches where I live, I'd feel like I'd be attacked and my hand cut off for it. At least this one looks discrete and something that anyone could buy at Wal-Mart...lmao
