Welcome to the release of Flametal “REDUX”, the final record of our beloved Ben Woods. As you must know by now, Ben was a groundbreaking guitarist, composer and artist. Bringing together his metal roots and his love for flamenco, he was always fearless on his artistic journey. His swan song is certainly no different with stripped down, reimagined versions of his classics along with brave new compositions, which he kept writing to the very end.
Ben was an extraordinary person that touched everyone with his energy, positivity and generosity. May he continue to do so through his art for eternity.

I wish I got to see you one last time man. Love you brother. I remember you calling me to see you play a club in the U District and we hadnt seen each other in over 10-15 years. I got to the club right when your set ended and you came out of the club sweating and steaming in the night air and just had this glow of awesomeness about you. I knew you, you didnt recognize me. I just said "Hey fkr" The smile on your face is unforgettable. WIll miss floating rivers and camping man. Love you dude! I have enjoyed Ben’s music and videos for many years. His suffering and passing made me so sad, I stopped watching the videos and music for awhile. I was reluctant to listen to this new record at first, but I really enjoy it. It is beautiful. What a beautiful soul. Thank you for your teaching and your beautiful music. Rest in Peace.
