Failing the test will be disheartening but don’t let it stop you from carrying on attempting it again. I failed my first one ages ago and now I drive buses lorries and have BL certification.

One of the dwelling things is knowing you could’ve been done and while it’s true, you’ll get there and that thrill won’t escape.

A drivers test can be done again, your driving isn’t judged by how many times you’ve done the test but more on how you drive after. If you’ve had to take more than one test so be it, many people do and they get into roles just like driving instructing and HGV’s.

For younger people the pressure might be passing before their friends or alongside their friends or maybe because of family - scrap it. It doesn’t matter how many times you’ve had to do it you’ll get there and still have that first driving thrill.

You said 10000% correct sir. Passing the 1st attempt is actually rare and risky. Mistakes do not show up, and they stay hidden when u pass the 1st attempt, which later show up when you drive in real.

Just failed today. Felt like an idiot and cried like a baby. The lady said I did everything right, except at one point I failed to use the center lane to make a left turn. She told me that’s an automatic fail, and I broke down. What was more frustrating for me is that I didn’t remember ever seeing a center turn lane.

i did the entire test correctly except for one thing, after the light went green i went to the lane that was on the left left and not thinking that it was a 2 way instead of it was a one way. Kicking myself after the test.

My lesson instructor told me to go slow and take it easy. Go the speed limit. Just took my test today, went the speed limit, went slow. Got a big X for going too slow.
