**You can watch in HD** After our group visited the rock garden in Masuda (link to that video below), we hopped on a bus for a 45 minute journey to nearby Tsuwano town in Southern Shimane. There, we hiked up a mountain path to visit Taikodani Inari Shrine.

After walking around the shrine, we went over to the Yabusame (horseback archery) track and found a seat and had lunch. (That video is coming next)

After we traveled back to Masuda town, we finished our day on April 8th with a visit to Manpukuji temple in Masuda, which has historic links to a famous Japanese artist named Sesshu.

And the "omikuji" (paper fortune) video I already posted was shot at this shrine:

Thanks for watching!

yeah - I love those characters, but I respect his wanting to advance the series a good chunk of years with each new book.

it sounds a little like the music from Shogun, but it is just an iMovie stock track you can use for free

Hey Jason I remember you saying you read the Shogun Series by James Clavell. How upset are you that he didnt carry on with Anjin-San and Toranaga's story?
