I think Intel is just going to leave the 8700K in production. The bit of extra power they managed to get out of the 8086K was the result of extreme binning, which is not a very cost-effective solution.

I'm ok with larger install sizes. Just erase some stuff. It's not like your save games are not in the cloud. If you want better graphics Fidelity a more realism and immersion. This is what goes along with it. It's clear rock star put a lot of love into this title. I can't wait to play it on PC in 4k!

I'd be completely okay with having an option to use lower poly/lower resolution models and textures on some games, especially since I'm still rocking a 1920x1080 and a 1600x900 panel, so while it still keeps looking nicer, diminishing returns at this point until I get around to upgrading my monitors, sure getting more drives is an option but I'm spoiled by having only SSDs on both my laptop and home desktop and waiting on more nvme price drops >.> figure 1 of 2 slots is only compatible with NVME on a lower bandwidth interface, may as well make the most of it.

I have USB-C about 4 years in my PC, and I didn't used it once. So for me it's fully understandable they didn't give it. Way too early. We need at least 2 years to more users will need it, and about 10 to make it standard. That's my opinion.

I have an Aorus Gaming 7, but no CPU yet. Building piece by piece. Will I have to buy an old CPU in order to update the motherboard, or will the 9900k work (as an unrecognized chip) but still allow me to update the bios? Really hoping I don't have to buy a chip first, sell it, then buy the 9900k.

What does TDP even mean anymore really? Is it even useful to list since power goes through the roof once the cpu is used at 100% utilization?
