In japan when a product is high in demand but supply is low, they often employ a lottery system. have seen this both in real stores and online. if you win, you are allowed to purchase the product. gives everyone a fair chance and makes much more sense to me than camping out or hammering websites. would really like to see this spread to more places here in the US

Their order was canceled because the retailer doesn't have that stock, not because they were scalpers. Their bots were too fast and ordered too many that the retailer can't meet that order so they had no choice but to cancel it.
