Thank you for the unique review. I appreciate the undercarriage information you shared. My Forester Wilderness in autumn green metallic (just like yours) was delivered in January. So far, we're very satisfied with the vehicle; very practical and spacious interior.
Just one question: is the catalytic converter covered by the plastic or metallic plates? Here in Houston, catalytic converter theft is a major issue. Does it have one or two catalytic converters?
This Forester Wilderness replaced a Honda Element we had brand new since 2004; the cat converter was stolen; we repaired it, and we decided it was time to sell the Element.

Boy wish it did have 270 horsepower. I’d have one in my driveway if it did.

The Wilderness gets less mpg than my 11 Rav 4WD Limited with 269hp 3.5 V6

Sorry but I can’t get past the Depressing Grey and Death Black interior colors which became popular in 1990.
Everyone is sick and tired of horrible darkness in our vehicles
