I love how chill and relaxed your style of video is, and this sounds weird but you do the type of video concepts that I would want to do if I had the time to make a youtube pokémon go channel haha. The best way for a free to play player is basicly hosting raids every day and getting the 50 daily pokecoins (to buy passes) with this you could get like 22 mewtwo raids.

Great stuff!! This summer I was lucky enough to get a shundo dialga from GBL… so obviously had to take it to 50, for my first maxed mon.

I’m not crazy hardcore, but I love pvp. I don’t have any level 3 Megas, and had about 16 raid passes stored. Like you said, I counted the number of raids and included XLs from trades in my calculations, and it came out to about $40, as you said!! I had a decent amount from GBL encounters as well

I did 62 mewtwo raids and have enough XL. I use my free pass daily, mega slowbro, trade every mewtwo with my husband for the garunteed XL, primarily do in person raids bought in bulk through boxes, and spent the past season saving all my coins because I wasn't raiding the tapus at all.

Really great video. I went mad on raids to max my Shundo Rayquaza and Mewtwo, that was mostly remotes and before the mega boost.

Now I have a stash of 80 premium passes I’m keen to use, trade two legendaries for XLs each day, have all my Megas to L3 so that helps.

Only issue is I will only max a hundo, so 296 XLs is great, but not if I don’t have the hundo to use it on.

I'm with you on this logic. First off, even if you get enough XL to max, are you going to not raid when the Mega ACTUALLY drops? No right? So in the meantime, prep yourself for the actual grind. Max a few Mega Slowbros, keep gyming for coins, use free raid passes on current mewtwos (but don't throw money at it), keep raiding for XL rare candies. When the Mega actually comes out, you have all the tools you need to get enough for max.

I already maxed out a Shadow Mew2, but not enough for a normal/mega mew2. Just learned about the mega trick, but I don't have one yet. I was actually thinking about throwing $50 this time round. Nope, I'll wait. Walking is my last resort, but at the same time, do I really need to when there's Mega XL Candy dropping? I also don't see the point in walking yet since it's not earning me energy. I'll walk later if Mega is out though (maybe)
