I hate both, but you gotta admit the apprentice builder is already slept on.

Look at it like this - the quicker you max hum out, the more value you will receive from him.

He's not going anywhere, and if he's max, you're earning 9hrs a day every single day, for weeks, months, and years.

If you upgrade a hero that takes 6 days, 5 you boost that hero every day, you save yourself 50+hrs on the hero.

Think of it like this, the goblin builder is like my ex, comes and goes, and you have to buy her stuff. The apprentice is like a brother, buy him a present for his bday and he’s there for life.

I think apprentice builder at max level is like having a builder potion everyday, and literally i just opened it and also leveled it to level 4 in just 2 hours you just have to complete high gem achievements and that's all

And i am a free to play player so not even spend a single penny

I like the apprentice builder as a form of hero training speedup.
A 7 day hero upgrade will still take 7 days with the goblin builder, but the apprentice builder is essentially a mini daily builder potion (at higher level) completing the hero upgrade sooner. This value from getting my heroes back in the action quicker is much higher value to me than upgrading an additional building or hero.

A. Builder is like a permanent employee, works hard but at a pace the company needs him to work.
Goblin is like a contracted employee, works fast, quickly and clean but can't stay due to other clients. Both have their uses and places

I like the apprentice builder cause i can now use him to decide when i want an upgrade to end. If i had a builder ending an upgrade at 3am i just use the apprentice builder on that builder and now the upgrade ends at 7pm

3. 4th builder
4. 5th builder
5. Second to last Epic equipment that isn't in event
6. Last Epic equipment that isn't in event
7. Lab Assistant (as it takes longer than buildings)
8. Goblin for Labratory
9. Goblin for buildings
10. Builder's Apprentice
11. Hero skins
Never use gems to finish an upgrade, it's not worth it.

I like the goblin builder because he can also work in the laboratory. That’s huge imo even if it does cost gems it saves a ton of time

Id been stock piling gems for… well years basically. i pumped like 7k into the apprentice builder, and while initially annoyed with the return on investment. Im actually quite pleased with it now. every 3 days of build time, i save myself about a day using him. Comes in clutch at higher th lvls

I have lev 4 apprentice builder. Honestly it doesn't looks like that it have any impact for 4 hr but when you look how much time it reduce for longer upgrades it, s totally worth it

I am on team Goblin builder but it is situational since when I have to use a research portion, I will activate one troop with higher time and other with lower time like 3 days and use 3 portions therefore it's like using a book of fighting but cheaper since you get research portion free here and there
