They say if you can't be a great ocean, then just be a roaring river, don't be a dried up pit. Similarly if you can not be Sri Ram the hero of Ramayan is the ocean, then just be Karna the one true heroic figure of Mahabharat who is the river, and not the pit which is Ravan. The river is just like the ocean. It is also very kind and merciful even unto its enemies, upholds Dharma always, and always is a tapasvi and satyavaadi who does penances and speaks truth. So yeah, the river is just the small version of the ocean. It's just that the river is also the far more vicious and energetic form of the ocean, and is always ready to do it's job. If ocean is grand Master, then substitute teacher is the river. If ocean is the god, than the river is the king, just as how Sri Ram was the god of dharma, Karna was the king of dharma. But river is unlike ocean, it is more flowing, so it can be far more easily dried than the ocean. But if you can not be like the ocean, be like the river, do not be the pit.

Just be like Karna ok, he is like the lesser greater version of Rama. Like if you could shrink down all of Lord Rama's greatness and qualities by just a half or so or at least a quarter or so, then you will get Angaraj Karna and you can be just like him. Be like Karna who was a junior and smaller version of Lord Rama himself, or like Lord Krishna who was like Lord Hanuman, and not like Brihanala who was just as impulsive and angry as Lakshman, but at least Lakshman never thought he was better than his older brother, but rather always followed him.
