I was not a cat person. My wife brought home a ragamuffin kitty. Ollie is his name. What a cool cat. He never "meows" he mumbles instead. He will walk around and "talk." So cute.

I am recovering from an operation and a few times a day Ollie will come up to me and wait for me to pat my tummy. Then he climbs up on my tummy and lays on me as he purrs. Such a cool cat. 😎

My Fluffy found me. She was sitting in my carport one day when I got home from work. I gave her treats. And she promptly adopted us. 🥰 Coolest cat I've ever known.

1 year update

So.... my Ragamuffin is my best friend. I have taught Ollie many tricks and our daily walk is my favourite time of the day. This lil kitty totally helped me recover from surgery. I had to relearn how to walk and ollie helped me walk a bit more every day. I have become a great cat dad. We take ollie when we run errands. He gets so excited to go out. Yea sometimes he is lazy but once he gets out he has fun. I love my Ragamuffin

We adopted a cat out of a stray litter, she was very active, very soft fur, learned to play catch, and fetch.We searched many breeds to find what she may be, well a ragamuffin is what she may be!she pouts after we are gone at work all day, and goes straight to the toy cabinet when we get home!she requires alot of attention to be happy and we love her!she also loves to play a form of soccer with us, we think we found a perfect ragamuffin mix!

I got a tuxedo ragamuffin... 13 yo but is very healthy and youthful... super friendly

I have one, he is pretty good at keeping himself occupied with toys, hair tye or whatever but he occasionally likes to be held, he also enjoys using the garage as a hunting ground for insects or any other little rodents that try to sneak in. He will sleep next to us in bed. One of his bad traits is that he is TOO adventurous. Even with a catio he will sneak out the front door if given the opportunity and then proceed to panic and hide in a bush in the front yard meowing. He is also VERY clean and never messes in the house purposely and barely outside his litter box. I recommend these cats for anyone who wants a very well natured pet with a lot of patience.

Pros:

Cute
If given a lot of things to keep occupied they are pretty well behaved.

Cons:
Can be TOO adventurous and explore out of safe zones.
Can be clingy
Addicted to Temptations and Fancy Feast
Meows for attention sometimes, (more like yowls).
Sometimes you have to cut dingle berries out of their fur but happens rarely.

Mine found me as well, she was under my porch and i rescued her, she was a little scared at first but she has really came out of her shell since i first rescued her. She is very loved that's for sure!

I adopted my ragamuffin from a hoarding situation when she was 5. That was 15 years ago! We’ve lived in 3 countries, and while she has a few health issues, considering her age, she is indeed quite hearty!

I’m convinced the stray kitten we adopted five years ago is part ragamuffin. She goes limp when you pick her up, she’s very vocal, and HAS to be with her people at all times. She walks on a leash, will play fetch, and has learned a few tricks. She’s a very big girl with a round head and big round eyes. Her fur is ultra fine and feels like a rabbit’s. The only thing is that her hair is a little shorter than most raggamuffins and her fur pattern is pale tortie/ calico.
