I have often considered Hijab to be quite the agitator, on speaker's corner for instance...plus I saw him in one of his vids calling out Ben Shapiro as a, and I quote "pusillanimous weasel"....which is genius!...but unkind lol.

I must say, despite my assumptions on him, when he is sharing his philosophical understandings, they are quite profound.

I understand now the example given in quran about the tree of falsehood. Who doesn't have the anchor in the earth. And is uprooted from its root

The word moral means as far as I understand it "allows for more". Immoral systems cause limits to that and even do the opposite 'immaterialising allowance for more'

It's called having values. That's how you cross the is-ought gap, by having fundamental values that you build your morality around.

"I value X, X is made more common if you do Y, therefore I believe you ought to do Y. If you also value X then you ought to agree with me."

so every "ism" which switches its analytical frame work from "what is" to suggesting "what ought/should to be" is basically a moral system.

Because morality is a vague concept with no real meaning that is highly variable from culture to culture and could and was used to justify monstrosities such as genocide sexism homophobia racism etc

What's his point? That there is no objective morality? Okay who cares. I hate seeing people suffer. You hate seeing people suffer too? Great. Let's work on alleviating that, then.
