Harry Potter is certainly not complex, and in fact is such a basic structure, that an 8 year old kid could have easily written the entire series of books in a few months. There's a reason that it appealed to small kids, because it's simplistic and repetitive. It's basically a series of Dr. Seuss books with wizards.

In an episode, Lisa wants to make a book but finds it super hard, so she asks for help and all her family and their friends help her, after all she goes to the publisher, which is filled with underpaid Ghost Writers who do the heavy lifting, while the books are credited to a single made-up marketable author, in the end they propose Lisa to pose as one, and take all the credit.

I believe she also met her favourite author, who turned out to be just a random lady who posed as the creator for the picture, she reveals to her that all big authors are just made up to spark kids' imaginations
