Την είδηση ότι το Ισραήλ ζήτησε επίσημα από τις ΗΠΑ, να αγοράσει 25 υπερσύγχρονα αεροσκάφη F-15EX, τα οποία και παράγει η παγκοσμίως γνωστή εταιρεία Boeing, δημοσίευσε πριν μερικές ημέρες η ιστοσελίδα Breaking Defense και αναμετάδωσαν πάρα πολλές ξένες ειδησεογραφικές ιστοσελίδες, όπως η Ισραηλινή The Times of Israel, αν και το Ισραηλινό υπουργείο άμυνας αλλά και η Αμερικανική πρεσβεία στην Ιερουσαλήμ, αρνήθηκαν να σχολιάσουν το εν λόγω δημοσίευμα.
Το άρθρο πάντως της Breaking Defense, μιλάει ξεκάθαρα για μια πηγή από τον τομέα της άμυνας, που είπε στην ιστοσελίδα, ότι έχει σταλθεί το γνωστό πλέον στους περισσότερους από εμάς LOR, δηλαδή Letter of Request, ώστε να προχωρήσει η διαδικασία και πως αναμένεται οι πρώτες παραδόσεις των F-15EX, να ξεκινήσουν το 2028.

The news that Israel has officially requested from the USA to buy 25 state-of-the-art F-15EX aircraft, which are produced by the world-famous company Boeing, was published a few days ago by the Breaking Defense website and was relayed by many foreign news websites, such as The Times of Israel, although the Israeli Ministry of Defense and the US Embassy in Jerusalem, declined to comment on the report.
The Breaking Defense article, however, clearly talks about a defense source, who told the website that the LOR known to most of us has been sent, i.e. Letter of Request, so that the process can proceed and that the first deliveries of the F-15EX, to begin in 2028.
