How to FIX PARTY CHAT & MIC in COD Modern Warfare 2 (Fast Tutorial)

Do you want to know how to fix party chat and mic in call of duty modern warfare 2! To do this go to settings and go to audio and then lower your recording mic threshold. Also, you can try switching from the game chat to the party chat in MW2. Press settings, then go to the channels tab. Switch to a party! If your friends are in a party, they will hear you but you can't hear them!

Mate, none of the options like open mic threshold are showing up. They updated the game and fucjed it uo even more

I hit x to unmute and it does nothing. I can’t unmute the lobby at all. Which makes proximity chart useless as everyone is always muted and I can do nothing about it.

Seems this rollout is FULL of chat bugs, especially voice chat over cross play connections. I'm glad I'm not the only one. Thanks for the video - it didn't help but at least you are calling attention to the problem. My hope is that they'll roll out some updates that address this. There are too many settings in too many places - they need to streamline this. And the problems appear intermittent as well. Last night I was able to use chat between my pc and friends ps5 (despite terrible echo and feedback issues) but tonite the same settings simply don't work AT ALL.

My problem is that I can play and hear other people but my mic doesn’t work, I can’t be heard by anyone, I’ve tried everything but can’t fix it, and my mic isn’t com banned because I’m not stupid

Only fix I know for Xbox which works every time.. is go to network setting, advanced setting, Alternate MAC adress and press clear . It restarts the Xbox quickly and game chat works again in every game. Hope this helped 🤙🏼

I FOUND A FIX!!! While in a game press “options” and go to the headphone icon then go to “game channel” Disconnect and reconnect it a few times. Worked for me

My mic makes a constant noise in game chat but not in xbox live party chats

This is not my issue. My issue is I can hear everyone in-game. I hear my friends I hear teammates and even enemies talking but my OBS only picks up my mic's audio in the recordings and does not pick up my friend's or teammates or enemy talking even though I can hear it in-game.

Under the audio settings, when using game chat, you need to have game chat set to "hear all lobby" once in awhile you also have to hit your options button and go to headphones icon top right and "disconnect" and connect again to hear squad. It's still buggy especially going into new game servers

Ya know… they can release update after update resolving known bugs but when something like this that is WIDELY and VASTLY known for quite an extended period of time THEY STILL find a way to put it in a “future” update. It really makes my blood boil because this makes it to where you can’t communicate with your party in modes like DMZ and it TOTALLY ruins the experience for people. Joining a lobby where your squad has no mics is like BEGGING for an enemy team to eliminate you. You’ve got better chances of surviving when you are actually riding thru the ghetto in real life. And yes I’ve been to real life ghettos before and I’m typing this message right now.

I'm on xbox series x and my mic will not work in COD. Tried so many things already suggested...
