This is such a fun project! Bubble bath confetti has 3 elements: bubble bath straws/noodles & sprinkles.

STRAWS
100 grams baking soda, 100 grams corn starch, 50 grams SLSa sodium lauryl sulfoacetate (or an alternate "bubble bath maker"), *15 grams meringue powder (or baking soda) + 30 milliliters fragrance oil, 60 milliliters alcohol, 30 milliliters liquid surfactant (cocamidopropyl betaine), *3 milliliters polysorbate 80, *15 milliliters color stabilizer, & *2 milliliters preservative. Items with an Asterix (*) are recommended but optional. Wet ingredients may be replaced with more liquid surfactant. If you increase SLSa, decrease baking soda &/or corn starch by the same amount.

Mix wet & dry ingredients separately then combine them. Whip on high 3-5 minutes. Divide icing & add color to each. Lay down paper & pipe lines/shapes. Dry 24-48 hours. Scrape straws off with cake smoother tool.

NOODLES
RECIPE 1 (light coverage) {STANDARD RECIPE} = 1 milliliter alcohol, liquid color (recommended), .25 milliliter fragrance (optional), 1/4 teaspoon mica (must have), + 1/8 cup noodles. Mix ingredients. Dry 15 minutes.
Recipe 2 (medium coverage): STANDARD RECIPE + .25 milliliters liquid surfactant (COA betaine); it allows more mica to stick to noodles. Mix ingredients. Dry 1 hour.
Recipe 3 (full coverage): STANDARD RECIPE + .25 ml. liquid surfactant + .25 ml. polysorbate 80 (acts as glue for dry mica). Mix ingredients then dry overnight or promptly remove excess liquid. Coat noodles in sparkling mica, dry 30 minutes, & sieve extra mica off.

SUGAR PEARLS -
Shiny coat: 1 milliliter alcohol, liquid color, & mica. Mix ingredients. Dry 15 minutes.
Sparkling coat: [same as above] + .25 ml. surfactant + .25 ml. polysorbate 80. Mix ingredients, remove excess liquid, then coat pearls in dry mica.

I am wondering why you need a preservative when you completely dry the noodles. Thank you for your hard work.

The Poly also helps the mica not float on top of the water and mix with bath water

I do have a question, will this make the bath water feel sticky from the noodles and pearls in it?
