Moms of Liberty, the crazy extreme right Christian Mom's group, were appointed by DeSantis here in FL to take over a school board. In a recent election, they needed at least one of the Mom's of Liberty to be voted to stay on the school board to have the group remain in charge. She lost. The school board was then handed back to the original school board again. I think that's a great win. 😊 I only saw one article about this. The whole country should be cheering for this win. Please mention this on your feed. The people here in FL are sick and tired of Ron DeSantis and his crooked moves he's made. The voters came out, and they made it happen. It can be done. Keep voting in the Dems and vote out the crazies on the extreme right wing. ✅️ 💪🤝👍👏
I've been saying to vote even down to the school board members in your district. It's just been proven that it works. The Mom's for Liberty is the group who got rid of all the books, among other extreme actions at our schools, but no more. We have the schools back, at least here in FL.

Yep! That's why we just voted a maga school board member out. Poor thing was so upset she threw a temper tantrum and didn't show up at the next school board meeting. Typical reaction of her ilk.

Start down ballot and go to the top. It might feel backwards but take the time to know what’s on the ballot before you get there. Most states will send a booklet with the names and voting issues. Don’t just toss it or wrap the fish carcass in it. Do the work. You don’t want to wake up in a dictatorship the next morning. 💙🇺🇸💙🇺🇸💙🗳️

The bathroom stuff doesn't mainly affect trans people but woman in general. Transphobia is really just a modernization of mysogiony. The idea that a woman is supposed to look a certain way and if she doesn't then she is doing something wrong. Anti-trans bathroom laws have mainly let to harrasment of woman who don't look 'feminine' enough.
