“You can learn anything. David out.”

Reminds me of 2020 when I almost watched every video in Khan Academy by David as a requirement of an English course I was taking back then.

I’m always grateful for Khan Academy & I attribute a big portion of my strong base in English to these simple yet valuable lessons! Keep up the good work & good luck!

When to use who and whom has been the most frustrating thing for me. Thank you for clearing it up :)

After 40+ years of confusion I FINALLY know when to use whom. Never.

Thank you we're in the akward phase of using outdated words and also testing them. You explained the most important part and now I can enter a testing environment with confidence.

Basically in Russian all words have multiple forms like "who" and "whom".
For example (the word father): My father is an engineer / I'll see my father. In the first sentence u need to say "отец", but in the second example you have to say "отца". And you have to do this to basically every noun, pronoun, adjective, gerund and so on. The most difficult part is that there're more than just two cases for each word and in most cases there are no universal rules for word formation. 👍

I'm a pretty well educated woman. Well, today I grew tired of always trying to guess whether I was using "who" or "whom" correctly. You actually cleared things up for me in your first few sentences. So Eureka! I've got it! Thanks for being so clear and for not taking 35 years to get to the point! I'm from Brooklyn, NY so truly, we dont have time for that!

Hmmm, still not fully confident… However, I appreciate you for providing me with this new (old) option - “whoso.” I will just use that going forward and drop the others altogether.

Wherefore, whoso’s sight enthralls upon thine word spoken will likewise find thee abashed and feeble.

This subject has always been puzzling me yk😂? Like, only a sentence of "whom are you talking to" is already mind-blowing for me 😅😅😅(I recall even my English teacher says it otherwise)

Him & whom ends with "m" object _ whom
He & who does not end in same letters subject _ who

Thank you! Your point about the more proper/formal sentences making it a more important distinction was extremely helpful and reassuring to me

Thank you. This is much more helpful than that who/whom clip from The Office, which just made me more confused.
