Plot Twist: StarHorse created the 9 and they used to be the former caretakers before getting fired and hiring Xur to run a cosmic night time show featuring us Guardians. The 9 are just salty unemployed cosmic beings . Also Xur doesn’t get paid on holidays, despite working overtime.

I'm wondering if xur will play a major role in a future expansion as further lore reveal for both xur and the nine.

I really want to know what happened to the nine that got anchored to the "taken" planets. Did they also get "taken" did this experience change them somehow? Are they the "Eldritch entity" that's been bubbling up on the Dreadnaught? Perhaps they found a way to crawl back to normal space? Should be interesting

Honestly sometimes with bungie and this game, I expect nothing and still get disappointed. I bet they’re gonna miss a shot at adding any sort of lore or creative dialogue and it’s just gonna be a copy paste of into the light but with the cool stuff we’ve seen so far from the livestream and nothing else.

Xur, the emissary, even star horse arent bodies for the nine more like servants, and mouth pieces to the nine in the physical universe. Speculation but the nine are just nine other entities much like the gardener and the winnower. My personal ideal lore scene is they are just beings of power placing bets on who wins, the gardener or the winnower. From lore 2 are aligned with light and 7 with darkness.

THEY BETTER NOT ADD MY ARMOR, the flawless ornaments with that beautiful blue aura, respect me bungo for actually buying ur game back in 2017 when it was not free and a pain in the ash to play it in possibly the worst year of destiny 2, not to mention how difficult and annoying those trials we're. Now nothing I paid for in 2017 is in the game currently so bungo at least leave me that and it would have been worth it
