Cubase 8 - How to comp vocals in Cubase

Here are 2 ways of comping in Cubase 8.

I am just figuring these comp and version functions out
They are Pretty Cool
I am in the process of creating a Project for a friend and I knew about Comping ( was not sure how to do it) But versions Were easy to begin the journey so I started creating Versions
Then I found I could Convert those Versions into lanes
And now I am Fluent in Both..I have to keep watching videos to Figure out how to Accomplish What I want!

Sebastien, j'aime beaucoup tes videos! One question though... why are your vocal tracks setup in Stereo? My INPUT channel for the Mic is mono but I was wondering if the audio track we setup to capture vocals should be Mono, or Stereo like you've setup? Can you briefly explain please?

What do you do when you're done and you have a bunch of miniclips that you want to render in place to just one large clip? When I use render in place on my mono track I end up getting a separate stereo track, is there a more adequate way to do it? and just get the combined mono clip?

When I click option + scissor tool, I'd doesn't cut all the tracks in the same spot, it only cuts the one track my cursor is over. Help?

hey i think they that you don't have to cut the audio file just make a tool that you highlight the part you want from each take and rest or muted
